You control one paddle using the mouse or keyboard. The AI controls the opposing paddle. The ball bounces between both paddles; let it pass your paddle and your opponent scores a point. First to reach the target score, typically 11 points, wins. On desktop, moving the mouse vertically tracks the paddle position directly. On touch devices, drag up and down along your side of the screen.
The angle at which the ball leaves your paddle depends on where it makes contact. Hitting with the center returns the ball nearly perpendicular to your paddle. Hitting near the top or bottom edge sends it at a sharper diagonal. Use angled returns to aim the ball at corners where the AI paddle struggles to reach in time. Predictable center returns are easy for the AI to anticipate; vary your contact point to keep the opponent off-balance.
